Los Angeles World Airports has released the LAX Service and Passenger Activity Update for 2018, and the airport has continued to record volume for domestic, international and total passengers.

Every year, the county conducts a census of the homeless population through the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count. The Count helps the public and government leaders better understand homelessness in our region and direct resources where they’re needed most.

BOB HOPE USO PARTNERS WITH AREA HOTELS TO FEED FIRST RESPONDERS  

Traditionally, the Bob Hope USO at LAX partners with local hotels to feed troops finishing basic training.

(Los Angeles, CA) Today, the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) approved concession and lease agreements with seven rental car companies representing 14 brands that will relocate to the new Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Consolidated Rent-A-Car (ConRAC) facility when it opens in 2023.

Gateway Los Angeles members and community leaders came together for the organization’s annual Progressive Dinner and helped raise $10,000 to benefit the Westchester Family YMCA’s Youth and Government Program.

Gateway is proud to support the annual LAX Kiwanis Club Golf Tournament, which funds scholarships to LAX-area high school seniors who come from families with incomes that are at or below the federal established poverty level.

LADWP PROGRAM MAKES LED LIGHTING UPGRADES AVAILABLE TO GATEWAY MEMBERS  

Gateway Los Angeles buildings that meet the program pre-qualifications may be eligible for lighting upgrades, including upgrades to 24-hour lighting in common areas, such as parking garages, hallways and staircases; as well as 12-hour lighting in parking lots and outdoor locations (overhead street lamps and wall mounted HIDs - metal halide bulbs).

GATEWAY COMPLETES TREE-TRIMMING THROUGHOUT THE PBID AREA 

One of Gateway’s important objectives includes beautification efforts such as maintaining the area’s trees. Throughout the month of July, Gateway crews undertook the massive effort of trimming trees throughout the Gateway area.

(Los Angeles, CA) Bob Hope USO at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) has a new address today, after moving earlier this morning into the ground level of the iconic Theme Building on Center Way.  

The new center is about double the size of the previous USO facility located near Terminal 2, providing 7,100 square feet to serve current members of the military and their families traveling through LAX.  

(Los Angeles, CA) Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Board of Airport Commissioners (BOAC) approved a contract for a not-to-exceed amount of $209M to Swinerton Builders to design and construct the Intermodal Transportation Facility – West (ITF-West), an integral component of the Landside Access Modernization Program (LAMP).
